Pastor Ron's Classics of the Faith
Inexpensive & Short

In addition to reading THE book - the Bible - Pastor Ron recommends reading these classic books of the faith
for growing in the knowledge of God and Jesus His Son.  2 Peter 3:18

#1 Knowledge of the Holy, A.W. Tozer (1897-1963)
Why read it? To know more of God - Colossians 1:10
“No religion has ever been greater than its idea of God.” (Tozer)

#2 The Attributes of God, A.W. Pink (1886-1952)
Why read it? To increase worship of God - Jeremiah 9:23-24
“The foundation of all true knowledge of God must be a clear mental apprehension of His perfections [attributes] as revealed in Holy Scripture.” (Pink)

#3 Who Is Jesus? R.C. Sproul (1939-2017)
Why read it? To know the real Christ - 2 Peter 1:16
“The Christ we believe, the Christ we trust, must be true if we are to be redeemed.” (Sproul)

#4 The Plight of Man & the Power of God M Lloyd-Jones (1899-1981)
Why read it? Find answer to man's need - Romans 1:16
The wrath of God is repugnant to natural man. “The Gospel is good news only because the wrath of God
has been revealed.”  (Lloyd-Jones)

#5 All of Grace, C.H. Spurgeon (1834-1892)
Why read it? Salvation is all of God's grace - Ephesians 2:8
“It is not the object of this book to ask anything of you, but to tell you that salvation is ALL OF GRACE,
which means, free, gratis, for nothing.” (Spurgeon)

#6 The Life of God in the Soul of Man H. Scougal (1650-1678)
Why read it? To grasp, God lives in man's soul - Galatians 4:19
“True religion is a union of the soul with God ... the very image of God drawn upon the soul ... Christ
formed within us.” (Scougal)
